Types of Window and Sliding Door Glass
There are many glass types for your needs.
Read our guide below to know which glass you have.
Annealed glass: This is the traditional glass type that most people have. It can break into large shards, which can be very dangerous to anyone standing nearby.
Tempered glass: This is much safer than annealed glass. Tempered glass breaks into small, dull pieces. And is much less sharp.
Laminated glass: is created by putting a layer of plastic between two glass layers. When this glass breaks, the glass usually sticks to the middle plastic layer and is considered a type of safety glass. Hurricane impact glass is a type of laminated glass.
Tinted glass: many people have gray or bronze tint to their glass. Replacing this type of glass is possible but may require a special order to get the exact tint.

Screen Enclosure Installation & Repair
For Pools, Patios, Windows & Porches.
Having a screened pool, porch, or patio can save a lot of maintenance and headache. You can protect yourself from bugs, mosquitos, bird poop, squirrel and pest damage, and leaves flying into your space. This can save significant cleaning time and let you enjoy more time outdoors.
Did you know that having a screen enclosure can increase property value? For a relatively small investment compaired to other construction costs, you can significantly increase the value of your home. Not to mention that it makes your property more beautiful and adds an extra entertainment space if installed in a porch or patio.
Not only is a damage screen a cosmetic eyesore, but if you live in an HOA or condo association, they may charge you a fee or put a lien on your property if your screens are unsightly.
A damaged screen allows mosquitos, cockroaches, mice, reptiles, birds, and other pests to enter your pool, patio, or home and spread disease or cause damage by pooping and chewing on your things.
Major Causes of Screen Enclosure Damage:
Corrosion from bird poop
Faded paint and warping from sun exposure
Salt and sand from nearby ocean corroding roof
Mold from exposure to rain and the elements
Squirrels, mice, birds, reptiles, and other pests making holes in the screen
Inclement weather like hurricanes, tornados, and thunderstorms
Window Repair & Replacement

Step 1: Determine why the window broke.
Did the window break because of a burglary? A domestic disturbance? A hurricane?
If it broke because of a burglary or a domestic disturbance, consider calling the police and getting a police report. If it is because of a hurricane, consider calling your homeowners' insurance policy as they might pay for the repair. Either way, you may not be able to clean the broken glass just yet. The police or inspector may need to see it first.
Step 2: Clean the broken glass & secure the opening:
Once complete with the police report or insurance inspector, they may tell you it is fine to clean the broken glass at this point. You can use tarp, plywood, or even hurricane shutters to secure the window for now until you fix it.
Step 3: Contact us today.
We can replace most window glass right away. If your window glass is tinted, has a non-standard shape, or a specialty glass, it may mean that we have to special order the glass. But not to worry; we can help you clean the broken glass and secure the window.
Sliding Glass Door Repair
Tracks, rollers, frame, and glass repair.
The services we offer include roller and track replacement, frame removal and track cleaning, straightening bent parts or replacing when needed. We can also replace the glass itself if it is broken or damaged.
Although this might sound easy to replace rollers or clean the track, but oftentimes these sliding doors are inside frames or built inside walls and it takes a lot of labor to get the parts freed to fix the issue. If the technician sees other issues after taking the sliding door out, he will notify the customer before proceeding with further work.
Our team offers professional service that can often be done right away. Other times, if it is a tinted glass, non-standard size, or very old components, we may need to order parts for the job. We look forward to repairing your sliding door!
